The stereoviews of conformation of the sugar-phosphate bacbone at the self-cleavage site (G3 and C6 (in hexamer 1) or U7 (in heptamer 2)) from the snapshots at 226 ps. All water molecules, sodium ions, and hydrogen atoms have been omitted for clarity. The O3'-PO2-O5' fragments are shown as ball and stick models while the remainder is shown as wireframe.

Panel (A): Hexamer 1 A-form (P of G3 = 44°, e = -158°, z = -58°, a = -80°, b = 171°, g = 68° and P of C6 = 53°). Panel (B): Hexamer 1 B-form. (P of G3 = 177°, e = -151°, z = 78°, a = 85°, b = 178°, g = 67° and P of C6 = 37°). Panel (C): Heptamer 2. (P of G3 = 123°, e = -96°, z = 146°, a = 64°, b = -176°, g = 54° and P of U7 = 150°).
